"Life: Beautiful"

While we were over at my in-laws celebrating my father-in-law's birthday on Sunday, (Happy Birthday Jim!), my mother-in-law was gracious enough to let me take home a beautiful new magazine I was browsing through.  It's a Christian magazine called LIFE: BEAUTIFUL - Faith For Your Journey.  The pictures are gorgeous, the craft, gift, and recipe ideas are wonderful, and it's free from advertisements!  There are also some wonderfully encouraging articles in it, a monthly bible reading schedule, and it's filled with beautiful pics.  Hopefully I'll have a project to share from it soon!

Who knew there was such a thing as "Mother-in-law's Tongue" pasta?!  It's that beautifully fun, striped pasta.  I found the following picture (and a delicous sounding  recipe - Spicy Garlic Rosemary Shrimp and Pasta at Don't Forget Delicious!) :

This picture accompanied a beautiful article on drawing near to Jesus, a topic that is close to my heart and quite a huge part of what God is teaching me right now!  My friend Amy over at New Nostalgia has written a fabulous post about her prayer bench here.
