Snow Day Fun - Part 2

1.  Classic cookie making - Yum! - (Although not my mom's classic cream cheese sugar cookies and homemade frosting - definitely a delicious future favorite!)

2.  Renting the new release "Bright Star" at the Redbox.  Rated PG and advertised as a passionate love story...yet only two words to truly capture its intensity...painfully boring.  (Unless you're into the true story of a famous poet entangled in the classic tragic love story - you know, dies at the end).

3.  And finally, after waiting way too long and struggling to find time to make a hair appointment...

The blond is back!  (Although clearly the tired teacher remains! :) )

Thank you Natalie at Simplicity Salon...and Sadie for persevering with me through the 2 1/2 hours!   Love it!

rule #1:(established a long time ago) always consult with your brother before spending 2 hours of your life viewing a movie. I actually saw this one in the theater and loved it...but could have told you that you probably wouldn't get into it - get 500 days of Summer, UP, or Ghost Town next time...

Yeah, seriously! You are a true artist - of course you would have seen a movie based on a seriously respected poet - which, by the way, I did appreciate about the movie. Just a little hard to follow. :)
