Yay for another snow day! I know, I know, everyone is bummed about making up the missed days at the end of the year, but hey - it's fun to feel like a kid today!
A snow day must: Snow Ice Cream! Here is the recipe and some pictures from an attempt with my friend Sadie today. Super fun!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cups sugar
- Clean, freshly fallen Snow
Directions:
First, get 4-5 cups of freshly fallen snow. Be careful not to pack the snow. Mix together the milk, vanilla, and sugar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the snow to the mixture, little by little, stirring continuously until it is thick like ice cream. Enjoy!
